Flamenco

Flamenco is an art form born in Andalucia, stemming from the encounter between Gypsy culture and the traditions of southern Spain.

It is an expressive, rhythmic and energetic dance, practiced solo or in a group, without the need for a partner.

Flamenco requires a little endurance, but remains accessible to any motivated person.

Timetable 2026/2027

 Intermediate-advanced level: Mondays at 8:15 pm. Content: Footwork technique & study of the Bata de Cola (trailing dress). Duration: 75 minutes. Price: CHF 240.00 per two months.

 Beginner level: Tuesdays at 6:30 pm.

Audience: Adults. Content: Footwork technique, braces & choreography. Duration: 60 minutes. Price: CHF 200.00 per two months.

Content

Discover varied and dynamic skills including: warm-ups to music, arm and hand techniques, footwork, light muscle strengthening and choreography in a motivating and friendly atmosphere.

Required equipment

Women


  • Flamenco shoes (light sole, with studs), 3 to 5 cm heels
  • Long training skirt
  • Tights, leggings or trousers underneath (cycling shorts are possible in summer)

Men


  • Comfortable outfit
  • Ankle boots or low-heeled shoes with a light-colored sole (with studs)
